Starting Lineup

Benjamin acts as the central anchor to clear the lines, while Kian and Evan cover the spaces behind the wing backs. The unit works to hold a high line to squeeze the space and keep the opposition pinned back.

In the middle of the pitch, Salford uses a three man midfield with a carrier and two interior players. Ben acts as the single pivot to shield the defence and receive from the ball playing defenders. Marcus and Bdon operate as the two central midfielders who connect the defensive and attacking lines. Marcus looks to carry the ball forward while Bdon works to win the second ball and recycle possession. George and Shiesty act as the wing backs, providing width and tracking back to support the defensive block when needed.

The attacking line features two forwards working in a partnership. Brad and Lux lead the press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. Brad often looks to find the feet of the striker and hold up the ball, while Lux makes runs in behind to exploit the space. The team builds attacks through the half spaces using the movement of Marcus and Bdon to create combinations in tight spaces. This movement allows the wing backs to overlap the winger and deliver crosses into the box.

This lineup offers significant tactical advantages through numerical superiority in midfield. By having five players in the central area, Salford can dominate possession and control the tempo.
