Alessio provides width on the right, while Gideon acts as the left back. In the center, Jahmai and Rav Van form the central pairing, tasked with defending zonally and covering space when the team pushes high. They must remain alert to set the offside trap and manage the space behind them when the team loses possession.

The midfield functions as a double pivot to provide a base for the attack. Tom and Paul work to shield the defense and recycle possession when needed. Paul often acts as the carrier to drive the ball forward, while Tom connects the defensive line to the front four. This two-man midfield must be disciplined to avoid being bypassed, as they are the only players sitting between the defense and the heavy attacking unit.
