Starting Lineup

Alexx · Dol · Alji · Jisen · Igo · Ramon · Nando · Julizar · Yoga · Pak kades / Sika · Fendi / Edo

A high press and rapid transition system defines this 5-2-3 lineup. The team aims to win it back high up the pitch and strike quickly once the ball is recovered. This formation allows for heavy numbers in the attacking third while maintaining a massive defensive block to prevent counters.

Fendi / Edo acts as the last line of defense in goal. The defensive unit operates with a back three consisting of Igo as the central defender, flanked by Alexx on the left and Dol on the right. Both Alexx and Dol serve as ball playing defenders who can step up to intercept play. On the flanks, Alji and Jisen act as attacking wing backs, tasked to spread wide and provide crosses. This defensive unit is designed to hold a compact shape and protect the middle of the pitch.

The midfield is a double pivot tasked with controlling the center of the park. Ramon and Nando operate as the two central midfielders, with the responsibility to shield the back three and recycle possession. Ramon looks to drive forward with the ball to link play, while Nando works to intercept passes and deny the turn of opposition midfielders. They must be ready to press in a mid-block or push up to support the front three when the team enters the final third.

The attacking force uses three attackers to stretch the defence. Julizar and Yoga operate as wide wingers, with Julizar looking to cut inside and Yoga to stay wide and pull defenders away. Pak kades / Sika leads the line as a lone striker, acting as a pressing centre-forward to force a long ball from the opposition. The movement of these three is designed to create runs in behind and isolate wide players in one on one situations when the wingers receive the ball.

This formation offers a strong defensive base that can shift into a heavy attacking lineup. The main advantages are the ability to create wide overloads from the overlapping wing backs and the capacity to win the second ball through a dense central presence. By using the wing backs of Alji and Jisen, the team can overwhelm the opposition flanks while keeping enough players back to defend.

This 5-2-3 formation relies on high intensity to break teams down. It is best suited for facing opponents that play with a high line or teams that struggle to handle wide overloads.
