This four man front line is designed to create runs in behind and isolate wide players in one on one situations. They press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

Inter possesses significant tactical advantages through this setup. The team can create wide overloads when Dimarco overlaps the winger, forcing the opposition to shift and leave gaps in the center. The high pressing intensity of Lautaro and the front four allows the team to win it back high up the pitch.
