Suzuki stays between the posts to command the area. The defensive unit operates with a back five that can shift into a back three when attacking. Vitinha plays as a wide centre-back to help build out from the back, while Marquinhos acts as a dominant presence in the air and provides cover. Pacho stays compact to defend the central zone. Hakimi functions as an attacking wing back, providing constant width on the right, while N. Mendes pushes high on the left to overlap and drive forward.

The midfield relies on a double pivot to control the middle ground. Joao Neves works to press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch and breaks the lines with his passing. Fabian Ruiz connects the defensive and attacking lines, often dropping deep to receive and recycle possession. This pairing must be disciplined to deny the turn to opposition players and ensure the team is not caught out during transitions.

PSG utilizes three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Dembele plays as a central striker who looks to isolate defenders in one on one situations. On the wings, Kvara acts as an inverted winger who cuts inside to create space, while Doue stays wide to stretch the play. These forwards press from the front to force a long ball and create chances through quick combinations in the final third.

A major advantage of this lineup is the ability to create wide overloads from the wing backs. Hakimi and N. Mendes allow the team to pin the opposition back, while the presence of Marquinhos and Pacho provides stability to defend against long balls. The numerical superiority in the wide areas makes it difficult for opponents to track every runner.
