On the flanks, Orkun K. and Martin Ødegaard operate in the half spaces to create chances. Ødegaard uses his elite passing range to find runners, while Orkun K. looks to drive into the box. This massive block allows Besiktas to maintain central control and disrupt the opponent's build up.

In the attacking phase, the team uses three attackers to stretch the defense. Vlahovic acts as the focal point, holding up the ball and finding space between defenders. Brahim Diaz and Trossard operate as inverted wingers, cutting inside to create overloads in the middle. This movement creates space for the midfielders to arrive late into the box. The front three press from the front to force a long ball, ensuring the two defenders and the midfield can intercept the clearance.
