Como favors a highly aggressive, vertical style of play through a 2-5-3 formation. This lineup seeks to overwhelm the opposition in the final third by pushing numbers forward and maintaining high pressure to win the ball back quickly. The goal is to dominate the central zones and use the width of the pitch to stretch the defense while keeping the game in the opponent's half.

Butez acts as the last line of defense in a very high defensive line. Behind the two central defenders, Ramón and Dossena, the space can be large, so they must focus on covering runs and sweeping behind the high line. These two center backs play with a high line to keep the team compact. Because there are only two pure defenders, they must be ready to step up and intercept passes to prevent long balls from bypassing the midfield.

The midfield is a dense five man unit designed to control the center of the pitch. Valle and Caqueret operate as a double pivot to shield the defense and protect the two center backs. In front of them, Da Cunha and Perrone act as inverted eights, looking to carry the ball forward and arrive late into the box. Paz plays as an attacking ten in the hole, connecting the midfield to the attack and looking to play through the lines with killer passes. This midfield block works to squeeze the space and deny the opponent any room to turn.

The attacking front line utilizes three attackers to pin the opposition back line. Douvikas plays as a pressing centre-forward, working to disrupt the build up from the goalkeeper. On the flanks, Baturina and Kühn act as wide wingers who stretch the defense, allowing space for the midfielders to push up. The team attacks in combinations, with Baturina and Kühn looking to cut inside or provide width to deliver crosses. This front three aims to create runs in behind and exploit any gaps left by a retreating defense.

Como benefits from significant numerical superiority in the central midfield area. Having five players in that zone allows the team to recycle possession easily and win the second ball effectively. The formation also creates wide overloads when the wingers and midfielders combine to move the ball toward the byline. This setup makes the team very difficult to play through, as the central density makes it hard for opponents to find passing lanes.
