Custom Team Football Formation
Starting Lineup
Kelvin · Pere · Orji · Godsent · CRiS · Creed · Emeka · Geetee · Joshua · Bassey · ChibuzeA high press and rapid verticality define this lineup as the team operates in a 4-3-3. This formation is built to win the ball high up the pitch and move the play forward with speed to catch the opposition out of position. By using wide attackers and an attacking midfielder, the system aims to stretch the defense and create immediate scoring chances.
Chibuze sits between the posts to oversee the defensive unit. The team utilizes a flat back four that can push up to squeeze the space in the middle of the pitch. Emeka and Geetee act as the central defenders, with Emeka playing as a ball playing defender to help start the attack. Bassey and Joshua operate as full backs, providing width and looking to overlap the wingers when the ball is on the opposite side. The back line works together to hold a high line and set the offside trap to keep the opponent from playing through the center.
The midfield operates as a three man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten behind the striker. Creed and CRiS occupy the central roles, with Creed looking to shield the defense while CRiS works to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Godsent plays as an attacking ten in the hole, looking to find space between the lines to create chances. This unit is responsible for pressing in a mid-block and ensuring they win the second ball to maintain pressure on the opponent.
In the final third, the team uses three attackers across the front. Kelvin acts as a pressing centre-forward to disrupt the opposition build up from the back. Orji and Pere operate as inverted wingers who cut inside to create room for the full backs. This movement allows Orji and Pere to find central presence while the team looks to play through the lines. The front three work to pin the last defender and create runs in behind to exploit any gaps in the defensive block.
One major advantage of this lineup is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, which forces the opponent into making mistakes in dangerous areas. The team also benefits from wide overloads when Bassey or Joshua move forward to support the wingers. This creates numerical superiority in the wide areas and allows for quick cutbacks to arrive late into the box.
This 4-3-3 formation is built for an aggressive, high tempo game. It is best suited for facing opponents who struggle to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
