The midfield relies on a three man midfield with a carrier to move the team forward. Ethan operates as the left sided midfielder to help cover the left flank, while Ao sits in the right central role to shield the defence and win the second ball. Anton plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, acting as the creative link who searches for pockets of space to receive on the half turn. This trio connects the defence to the attack by recycling possession and looking to break the line with vertical passes.

Up front, the team utilizes three attackers across the front. Harry plays as an inverted winger on the left to cut inside and create chances, while Noah stays wide on the right to stretch the defence and deliver crosses. Dominic operates as a lone striker to lead the press from the front and find the feet of the striker in tight spaces. The attackers work in combinations to pull wide and create runs in behind the opposition back line, often using the width provided by the full backs.

One major strength of this Leeds lineup is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, forcing the opponent into mistakes near their own goal. The formation also creates wide overloads when Jayden and Gabriel overlap the wingers to overwhelm the flanks. This allows the team to maintain high pressure and quickly switch play to find isolated wide players in one on one situations.
