Kimmich and Pavlovic must work hard to shield the defense and prevent counter attacks. This pairing connects the back four to the front four by playing through the lines and maintaining control of the central area.

In the attacking phase, FC Bayern utilizes two central forwards and two wide attackers. Harry Kane operates as a striker who can drop deep to link play, while Musiala plays as a second striker in the hole to find pockets of space. On the flanks, Olise and Diaz act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create chaos in the box. This front line is designed to stretch the defense and create many chances through quick combinations and runs in behind.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to press high in coordinated waves to force mistakes from the opponent.
