Lazio utilizes three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. Ratkov acts as the lone striker and a pressing centre forward to force the opposition into mistakes. Zaccagni plays as an inverted winger on the left, looking to cut inside and create chances. Isaksen operates on the right as a wide winger who tries to isolate his marker in one on one situations. This front line is designed to trigger a press from the front and make runs in behind to exploit gaps in the opposition line.
