This team focuses on a heavy high press and rapid verticality through a 2-5-3 formation. The lineup is built to squeeze the pitch and catch the opposition in transition through aggressive forward movements. By stacking the middle and the front, the team aims to win the ball high up the pitch and strike before the opponent can settle.

Hamza sits between the posts to act as a sweeper behind a very high line. The defensive unit relies on just two central defenders, Ojaah and P.k, who must stay narrow and communicate to cover the massive space behind them. Because there are no full backs, Ojaah and P.k act as ball playing defenders who must step up to intercept long balls and engage attackers before they can turn. They must hold the line carefully to avoid being caught by simple balls over the top.

The midfield is the engine room of this lineup, utilizing a five man unit to control the center. Amosz acts as the single pivot, sitting deep to shield the two central defenders and recycle possession. Denish operates as a second pivot to support the defensive transition and pick up runners. Morish sits in the middle to connect the lines and carry the ball forward into the final third. On the flanks, Pius and Rickitaan act as attacking mids who operate in the half spaces to stretch the defence.

The attacking front three uses a wide presence to isolate defenders. Martine and Mugisha act as wingers who hug the touchline to spread the pitch wide, creating gaps in the middle. Jordan operates as a pressing centre-forward, looking to pin the last defender and make runs in behind. The movement is designed to create cutbacks from the byline when Martine or Mugisha reach the edge of the area. The team attacks in combinations, using Jordan to hold up the ball and lay it off to the late arriving midfielders.

One major advantage of this 2-5-3 is the massive numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch. With five players in the central zone, the team can quickly win the second ball and dominate possession in the half spaces. Another strength is the ability to press in coordinated waves, as the three forwards and the two attacking midfielders can trigger a press that suffocates the opponent in their own half.

This formation creates a high risk high reward identity centered on aggressive ball winning. It is best suited for games where the team needs to break down a low block through sheer numbers and constant pressure.
