Havre AC relies on a high press and quick transitions when playing a 3-5-2. This formation is built to control the central areas and squeeze the space in the middle of the pitch to force errors from the opposition. The team looks to win the ball high up the pitch and strike quickly before the opponent can settle.

L.Mpasi stands between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit operates as a back three with T.Pembélé acting as the left centre-back, E.Jelert as the right centre-back, and A.Seko in the middle to hold the line. These three defenders focus on defending zonally and maintaining a high line to keep the team compact. They aim to win the second ball and prevent any runs in behind.

The midfield is quite crowded with a five man unit that covers every part of the center. J.Mwanga and R.Ndiaye operate as a double pivot to shield the defence and disrupt play. In front of them, A.Richardson and S.Ebonog act as two inverted eights to connect the lines and drive forward with the ball. K.Mizuta plays as an attacking ten behind the strikers to create chances and arrive late into the box. This midfield group works to recycle possession and move the ball quickly through the thirds.

Havre AC uses two forwards in a partnership to lead the attack. S.Nakamura plays as the left striker and J.Maja plays as the right striker, with both players working to press the opposition back line. They often use link-up play between the lines to find space. The forwards aim to find the feet of the striker or knock it in behind when the opposition defenders step up too high. They create pressure through combinations to isolate defenders in one on one situations.

This lineup offers great strength through its numerical superiority in midfield. The presence of five players in the center makes it very difficult for opponents to play through the middle. Additionally, the team can press in coordinated waves to win it back high up the pitch. This creates many opportunities to attack the opposition while they are out of position.

The 3-5-2 formation provides a heavy central presence and a high defensive line. It is best suited for matches against teams that try to play through the middle and struggle against a high press.
