Fulham focuses on a high press and direct attacking style using a 4-3-3. This formation is built to win it back high up the pitch and quickly transition into dangerous attacking movements. The goal is to squeeze the space in the opposition half and use verticality to stretch the defence.

Bernd stays between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four where Timothy acts as an attacking full back to provide width. On the opposite side, Antonee pushes up to overlap the winger, while Joachim and Calvin hold the line as central defenders. Joachim and Calvin work together to defend zonally, ensuring they cover the space behind the advancing full backs to prevent being caught on the transition.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten behind the striker. Shea and Sander work to control the middle, with Sander looking to receive on the half-turn to progress through the thirds. Josh plays as an attacking ten in the hole, finding pockets of space to play through the lines. Shea protects the area in front of the defence to deny the pivot, while Josh looks to arrive late into the box to support the attack.

Fulham uses three attackers across the front to maintain constant pressure. Gonzalo acts as a pressing centre-forward to pin the last defender and disrupt the build up. Kevin and Oscar operate as wide wingers, with Kevin preferring to cut inside and Oscar looking to get to the byline. This setup creates many runs in behind and allows the team to combine in tight spaces near the edge of the area.

This lineup offers significant tactical advantages through wide overloads. When Antonee and Timothy push up, they create situations to isolate wide players in one on one battles. The coordination between Josh and the front three allows Fulham to press in coordinated waves, making it very difficult for opponents to play out from the back.

Fulham relies on high intensity and quick transitions to overwhelm the opposition. This 4-3-3 is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play under heavy pressure or defend deep.
