The midfield operates as a three-man midfield with a carrier and a creative tip. OBED and JOHNNY occupy the central spaces to protect the centre backs and recycle possession. OBED works to shield the defence and intercept passes, while JOHNNY looks to carry the ball forward and link the lines. RODRIGO plays in the hole as an attacking ten, finding pockets of space to arrive late into the box and play through the lines.
