Levante focuses on a high press and rapid verticality in a 4-3-3. This formation aims to squeeze the space in the opposition half and win the ball back high up the pitch to catch teams out of position. The team looks to progress through the thirds with quick passing and direct movement to stretch the defence.

MATHEW operates between the posts to sweep behind a high line when the team pushes forward. The back four relies on a flat defensive line where JEREMY plays as an attacking full back to provide width on the right side. On the left, MANU acts as an attacking wing back to support the flank. AÏSSA and ADRIÁN form the central pair, with AÏSSA acting as a ball playing defender to help play out from the back while ADRIÁN focuses on defending zonally.

The midfield operates with a three-man midfield with a carrier to control the tempo. ENZO plays as an inverted eight to connect the defensive and attacking lines, while JON ANDER operates in the half-space to press aggressively and win the second ball. CARLOS plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find the feet of the striker or arrive late into the box to add goal threat. This trio works to compress the midfield and deny the turn of the opponent.

Levante utilizes three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. KARL ETTA acts as a pressing centre-forward to lead the line and force a long ball from the opposition. THIAGO plays as an inverted winger who cuts inside to create space, while VÍCTOR stays wide as a winger who hugs the touchline to spread the play. The forwards combine in tight spaces to create runs in behind and often look to deliver early crosses or cut it back for late runners.

This lineup offers the advantage of being able to press high in coordinated waves to disrupt the buildup. Levante also creates wide overloads from overlapping full backs like MANU and JEREMY which can isolate wide players in one on one situations. The presence of CARLOS in the hole provides numerical superiority in the attacking third when the midfielders push up.

This 4-3-3 formation is built for a side that wants to dominate through intensity and vertical passing. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
