Haraldsson and Fernandez-Pardo operate as two forwards in a partnership, looking to run in behind the defense or hold up the ball for others. Mukau and Félix Correia play as wide attackers, with Mukau operating from the right and Félix Correia on the left. Mukau and Félix Correia often cut inside to create overloads in central areas, while the two central attackers look to find the feet of each other or arrive late into the box to finish moves.

Lille gains a massive advantage through numerical superiority in the attacking zone, often pinning the opposition back with four players.
