Starting Lineup

Murtaza · Nadeem · Dilawar · Ibrahim · Ali · Abbas · Irfan · M.Ali · Liaqat · Bakir · Hassan

CB focuses on a high press and quick transitions through a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and stretch the defence with wide attackers. The team looks to use verticality to break lines as soon as possession is regained.

Hassan acts as the last line of defence in goal. The back line operates as a back three with Liaqat sitting central to manage the space. Bakir plays as the right centre back and M.Ali operates as the left centre back to cover the wide areas. This defensive unit works to hold the line and ensure the team stays compact when the opposition tries to play through the middle.

The midfield operates as a box with two central players and two wide players. Irfan and Murtaza form the central core to control the middle of the pitch and shield the defence. Irfan looks to carry the ball forward while Murtaza works to intercept passes and recycle possession. Ali and Abbas provide the width from the flanks, with Ali pushing up the left and Abbas pushing up the right to support the attack.

CB utilizes three attackers to pin the last defender. Nadeem plays as a lone striker to lead the press and find the feet of the striker during combinations. Dilawar and Ibrahim act as wide wingers who look to cut inside and create central presence. These players press the opposition back line to force a long ball, allowing the midfield and defenders to win the second ball.

This formation offers several tactical advantages. The presence of Ali and Abbas allows for wide overloads when they push up to support the wingers. Having Irfan and Murtaza in the middle creates numerical superiority in the centre to win the ball back high up the pitch. The team also benefits from a high press in coordinated waves to squeeze the space.

The 3-4-3 formation is a high intensity system designed to dominate the pitch through pressing. It is best suited for matches against teams that try to build play slowly from the back.
