This team focuses on a high press and aggressive attacking play through a 2-5-3 formation. The goal is to win the ball high up the pitch and overwhelm the opposition with numbers in the final third. By committing so many players forward, the team aims to dominate every match through verticality and constant pressure on the opponent's back line.

J.CONTRERAS stays between the posts to act as the last line of defense. The defensive unit is extremely thin with only a two man back line consisting of T.QUINTERO and N.FERRARESI. These two central defenders must play as ball playing defenders to help play out from the back while also being ready to step up and catch attackers offside. Because there are no full backs, T.QUINTERO and N.FERRARESI must remain very disciplined to cover the wide areas and prevent long balls from being played into the channels.

A heavy midfield presence drives the heart of this lineup. J.ARAMBURU and L.BALBO act as a double pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. In front of them, Y.HERRERA and C.CASSERES occupy the half spaces to connect the defensive and attacking lines. T.SEGOVIA operates as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space to play through the lines. This five man midfield provides a massive amount of control in the center of the pitch.

The attack uses three attackers to stretch the defense. G.MENDOZA and D.MARTÍNEZ act as wide wingers who stay high to provide width. G.MENDOZA can cut inside to create chaos, while D.MARTÍNEZ looks to get to the byline and deliver crosses. K.KELSY acts as a lone striker, tasked to find the feet of the striker and hold up the ball for the oncoming midfielders. The front three press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

This formation offers significant numerical superiority in the midfield to control the tempo of the game. The team can also create wide overloads as the midfielders shift outward to support the wingers. By keeping so many players in advanced positions, the team can press in coordinated waves to win it back high up the pitch.

The 2-5-3 is a high risk, high reward lineup built for total dominance. It is best suited for games where the team needs to break down a deep low block through constant pressure.
