Muslera guards the goal as the last line of defense. A flat back four provides the defensive base, with Mancuso acting as the right back to cover the flank. REFUERZO and Nuñez/LGP form the central pairing, where REFUERZO acts as a covering defender while Nuñez/LGP looks to engage attackers. Palacios plays as the left back, capable of pushing up to support the midfield. The defensive unit works to maintain a compact shape to deny passing lanes.

The midfield consists of a single pivot with four players supporting him in a line. JTB sits in front of the defense to shield the back four and recycle possession. Piovi and Baltasar operate as the central duo, with Piovi looking to carry the ball forward and Baltasar providing support to win the second ball. Tiago and Correa operate in the half spaces as attacking midfielders, looking to press aggressively to win the ball high. This midfield setup connects the defense to the attack by moving the ball quickly through the thirds.

Guido leads the line as a lone striker, serving as a target man to hold up the ball. He works to pin the last defender and create space for Tiago and Correa to arrive late into the box.
