Venezia focuses on a direct and high pressing identity using a 4-4-2. This formation is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike quickly through the center and wide areas. The goal is to use the width of the pitch to stretch the opposition before playing through the lines to the forwards.

Stankovic stays between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line operates as a flat back four where Correia acts as a defensive wing back to hold the wide area. Bella Kotchap and Sverko form the central pairing with Bella Kotchap acting as the dominant presence in the air while Sverko provides cover. Franjic works as a left back to support the midfield and ensure the team does not get caught out on the break.

The midfield works in a four man block to control the center of the pitch. Busio sits as a single pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. Next to him, Basic and Sohm operate as two central midfielders who press aggressively to win the ball back in the middle third. Yeboah plays as an attacking ten behind the strikers to connect the midfield to the attack and find space between the lines.

Venezia utilizes two forwards in a partnership to lead the line. Adams acts as a pressing centre forward to force long balls from the opposition defense. Rrahmani plays as a second striker in the hole to link up play with the advancing midfielders. The attackers work together to run in behind the defenders and create chances through quick combinations in transition.

One major tactical advantage is the ability to press high in coordinated waves with the forwards and Yeboah triggering the press. This creates pressure on the opposition goalkeeper and defenders. The setup also offers compactness when defending a mid block, making it difficult for opponents to pass through the middle.
