In the attacking phase, Garcia works as a lone pressing centre forward. He is tasked to hold up the ball and pin the last defender to create space for the midfielders. When Fulham win the ball back, the goal is to hit in behind on the transition. The midfielders look to drive forward with the ball or play through the lines to find Garcia. The team aims to use the width of Robinson and Castagne to stretch the defense and deliver crosses into the box.

One major advantage for Fulham is the sheer density of the midfield, which makes it very hard for opponents to find passing lanes.
