Levante focuses on a high press and verticality with a 4-2-4 formation. This lineup aims to pin the opposition back and attack with high numbers in the final third. By playing with four attackers, the team seeks to stretch the defence and create constant pressure in the opponent's half.

MATHEW plays between the posts to anchor the back line. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four with MANU acting as the left back to provide width. JEREMY stays on the right to cover the flank, while ADRIÁN and AÏSSA form the central pairing. ADRIÁN operates as a ball playing defender to start attacks, while AÏSSA is tasked to win the header and clear the lines during set pieces. The unit works together to hold a high line and squeeze the space in front of them.

The midfield consists of a double pivot where ORIOL and ENZO work to control the center of the pitch. ORIOL acts as the shield for the defence, sitting deep to intercept passes and protect the center backs. ENZO is the carrier who drives forward with the ball to link the defensive unit to the attackers. They must work hard to cover the ground left behind when the full backs push up, ensuring they do not get bypassed in transition.

In the attacking third, Levante utilizes four forwards to overwhelm the opposition. THIAGO plays as an inverted winger on the left to cut inside and create, while VÍCTOR stays wide on the right to whip it in with crosses. PETAR and KARL ETTA operate as a partnership in the center. PETAR acts as the target man to hold up the ball, while KARL ETTA looks to make runs in behind to exploit gaps. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

One major advantage for Levante is the ability to create wide overloads when MANU and JEREMY push up to overlap the wingers. This formation also allows for high pressing in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to build out from the back. The presence of two central strikers can also pin the last defender and create space for the midfielders to arrive late into the box.
