Osasuna looks to dominate games through a high press and rapid transitions using a 4-3-3. This formation is built to win the ball high up the pitch and immediately look to hit the opposition in behind. The lineup focuses on squeezing the space in the opponent half to force errors and create quick attacking chances.

Aitor plays between the posts to organize the back line. The team defends with a flat back four, where Abel acts as an attacking left back to provide width. Iñigo plays as the right back and is tasked to support the attack while Rockson and Jorge operate as the central defenders. Rockson is dominant in the air, while Jorge acts as a ball playing defender to help play out from the back. The defensive unit works to hold a high line and step up to compress the playing area.

The midfield operates as a three man midfield with a carrier and a creative tip. Asier acts as a driver who carries the ball forward to break the lines. Iker protects the central zone to shield the defence, while Moi plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to link the lines. Moi looks to find the feet of the striker or play through the lines to the wide players. This trio connects the defensive unit to the front three by recycling possession and finding pockets of space.

Osasuna utilizes three attackers across the front to stretch the defence. Raúl operates as a pressing centre-forward to disrupt the opposition build up. Jonathan and Raúl act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. This movement creates space for Abel and Iñigo to overlap the winger and deliver crosses into the box. The forwards work in combinations to pull wide and create one on one situations in the final third.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to press high in coordinated waves. Osasuna can create wide overloads when the full backs push forward to support the wingers. The midfield trio provides the ability to win the second ball and transition quickly once possession is regained.

The 4-3-3 formation provides Osasuna with a vertical attacking identity. This lineup is best suited for facing opponents that struggle to play out from the back under intense pressure.
