The midfield consists of a two man midfield featuring NOAH and FRANCIS. These two work as a double pivot to control the central zone. FRANCIS works to shield the defense and win the second ball, while NOAH has the freedom to carry the ball forward and connect the defensive and attacking lines. They must work hard to press in a mid block and ensure they do not get bypassed by quick passing. This pair is essential to recycle possession and transition the ball from the back five to the front three.

Elversberg utilizes three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. DAVID acts as a pressing centre forward to pin the last defender and disrupt the build up. On the flanks, COLE plays as an inverted winger who wants to cut inside, while LUKAS operates as a wide winger to get to the byline and deliver early crosses. The movement of these three creates runs in behind and allows the team to attack in combinations. They aim to find the feet of the striker or deliver a cross on the run to catch the opposition off guard.

This formation offers significant advantages through its ability to press high in coordinated waves. The presence of three attackers makes it easy to trigger a press from the front, often catching opponents in transition.
