Venezia aims to control the middle of the pitch and play with high intensity using a 3-5-2. This formation relies on a strong central presence to win the ball back and push forward quickly. Filip acts as the last line of defense behind a back three. Juan holds the center of the line, providing cover and strength in the air. This back line works as a unit to squeeze the space between the defense and the midfield, making it difficult for opponents to play through the center.

The midfield relies on a five man unit that can shift between a compact block and a wide attacking presence. Simon operates as the attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to find space between the lines and play through the lines. Kike and Gianluca provide the engine in the middle, with Kike working to drive forward with the ball and Gianluca acting as a carrier to connect the defense to the attack. Thierry and Antoine provide the width as wing backs, pushing high to overlap the midfield and spread wide when Venezia has the ball.

Venezia uses two forwards in a partnership to pressure the opposition back line. Akor plays as the left striker to lead the press from the front, while John works as the right striker to hold up the ball and link up with the midfield. The goal is to create runs in behind through quick combinations or to use the width provided by Thierry and Antoine to deliver crosses into the box. When the wing backs get to the byline, they look to cut it back for Akor or John to attack the near post.

This lineup offers significant tactical advantages through its control of the central areas. By using three central midfielders, Venezia can create numerical superiority in the middle to win the second ball. The ability of Thierry and Antoine to push high also allows for wide overloads that force the opposition defense to stretch.
