EMMANUEL focuses on winning the second ball and winning headers, whereas MAËL looks to play out from the back to start attacks.

The midfield works as a three-man midfield with a carrier and a creative hub. JULES occupies the right central role to drive forward with the ball and cover large areas of grass. On the left, BRANCO acts as the link between defense and attack, often dropping between the centre-backs to help build play. BANÉ operates as the attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space between the lines. BANÉ is tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high and immediately look to find the forwards.

Angers utilizes three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. AMINE plays as a pressing centre-forward, working to pin the last defender and create space for others. On the flanks, HAROUNA and ANTHONY act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create goalscoring chances. These movements allow the wide players to leave space for MARIUS and LILIAN to overlap the winger. The attacking trio works to combine in tight spaces, using quick one-twos to break the line of the opposing defense.

One major advantage for Angers is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, with the front three and BANÉ triggering the press together. Another strength is the speed of transition when the team wins the ball, allowing the inverted wingers to exploit the channels.
