NICOLAS guards the goal as the last line of defense. The back line operates as a flat back four to maintain compactness. HAROLD acts as the right center back to cover the space while RAÚL operates as the left center back to provide stability. On the flanks, LUCAS at left back and LUCAS at right back act as attacking full backs to provide width. They push high to support the wings, leaving the center backs to hold the line and defend zonally against central threats.

The midfield works as a three man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten. EDWIN occupies the right central midfield role to help control the tempo and link the defense to the attack. LUCAS plays in the left central midfield position to help recycle possession and squeeze the space in the middle. ALEXANDRE plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space and deliver through balls. This unit connects the defensive unit to the front line by moving between the lines.

Le Mans employs three attackers across the front to pin the opposition defense. HABIB acts as a pressing centre forward to lead the charge from the front. On the wings, LOUIS plays as a left winger who seeks to cut inside, while BILAL operates as a right winger to stretch the defense. The wingers work to isolate wide players in one on one situations. When attacking, the full backs overlap the winger to create overloads, allowing the front three to combine in tight spaces or hit in behind on the transition.

This lineup offers significant advantages through the ability to press high in coordinated waves. By using the front three and ALEXANDRE to trigger a press, Le Mans can win the ball high up the pitch. Another strength is the wide overloads created when the full backs push forward to join LOUIS and BILAL.
