Ac. Viseu focuses on a high press and quick vertical attacks using a 4-3-3. This lineup aims to win the ball high up the pitch to catch the opposition out of position. The team uses the width of the field to stretch the defence and create gaps for penetrative runs.

JUAN acts as the last line of defence, playing behind a flat back four. IGOR operates as the right back, looking to overlap the winger to provide extra width. GU sits as the left back, while NIKOLAOS and PEDRO form the central defensive pairing. NIKOLAOS acts as a ball playing defender to start attacks, whereas PEDRO provides cover to sweep behind the line when the team pushes high. This unit defends zonally to keep the distance between players tight.

The midfield works as a three-man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten. CRISTIAN and ANDRO occupy the central roles, with CRISTIAN working to shield the defence and ANDRO looking to connect the lines. ALEJANDRO plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, finding pockets of space to create chances. This group works to compress the midfield and win the second ball to maintain pressure.

In the attacking phase, Ac. Viseu employs three attackers across the front. LOROUGNON and ÁLVARO operate as wide wingers who look to cut inside to threaten the goal. MOHAMED acts as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. The team builds play through the thirds by using the wingers to isolate one on one situations or by playing through the lines to find MOHAMED.
