The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier and a creative spark. Casper operates as the central engine to connect the defensive and attacking lines, often driving forward with the ball to disrupt the opponent. Rayan plays as the left sided midfielder to press aggressively and win the ball high up the pitch. Alexis plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find the feet of the striker or play through the lines with sharp passes. This trio ensures Standard can transition from a defensive block to an attacking wave instantly.

The attack features three attackers across the front. Dennis Ekert acts as a pressing centre-forward, working to pin the last defender and fight for long balls. Adnane operates as an inverted winger on the left, looking to cut inside and find shooting lanes, while Bernard stays wide on the right to stretch the defence and deliver crosses. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. This setup is designed to create runs in behind and allow for quick combinations in the final third.

Standard possesses clear tactical advantages due to this lineup. The team can create wide overloads when Marlon pushes forward to overlap the winger. There is also a high capacity for speed of transition, allowing the players to hit in behind on the transition before the opposition can recover.
