LASK focuses on a high press and quick verticality with a 3-5-2. This formation is built to dominate the central areas and squeeze the space in the opposition half. The team relies on high energy to win it back high up the pitch and uses the extra numbers in the middle to control the rhythm of the game.

LUKAS acts as the last line of defense, playing behind a back three. DANIEL sits in the middle to command the area and win the header. ANDRÉS plays as the left centre-back while XAVIER covers the right side of the central defensive unit. This back three functions as a compact block that can shift to protect the width when the wing backs are pushed high.

The midfield operates with a heavy presence in the center of the park. MELAYRO and ALESSANDRO form a double pivot to shield the defense and recycle possession. They provide the platform for KASPER, GEORGE, and KRYSTOF to work further up the pitch. KRYSTOF helps connect the defense to the attack, while KASPER and GEORGE look to drive forward and arrive late into the box. This group can press aggressively in a mid-block to force a long ball from the opponent.

LASK utilizes two forwards in a partnership to pin the opposition back line. SASA and SAMUEL work together to hold up the ball and link up play between the lines. The two attackers press from the front to disrupt the build up of the opponent. By playing with two strikers, the formation creates space for the midfielders to make runs in behind or move into the pockets of space between the defenders.

A major tactical advantage for LASK is the numerical superiority in midfield. Having five players in the center allows the team to compress the midfield and win the second ball frequently. Another strength is the ability to use the wide areas to stretch the defense, creating chances for the central players to split the defense with a through ball.

This formation is designed to suffocate opponents through central density and intense pressing. LASK is best suited for games against teams that try to play out from the back in crowded central areas.
