Fenerbahçe operates with a high press and verticality through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and drive quickly toward the opposition goal. The goal is to stretch the defence and use quick transitions to punish opponents who try to build from the back.

Mert stays between the posts to manage the defensive line from deep. A flat back four provides the foundation, with Levent acting as an attacking full back to provide width on the left. On the right, Mert overlaps to support the attack, while Jayden and Kojo Peprah operate as the central pair. Jayden acts as a ball playing defender to start attacks, whereas Kojo Peprah focuses on being dominant in the air and covering space when the line is high. The unit works to squeeze the space between the lines and maintain a compact block when the ball is lost.

The midfield uses a three man midfield with a carrier to link the units. Ismaïl acts as the engine, pressing aggressively to win the ball high and shielding the defence. Bartug provides balance, helping to recycle possession and drive forward with the ball. Írfan Can plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, finding pockets of space to create through the lines. This midfield group is tasked with protecting the centre and ensuring the team can quickly progress through the thirds once the ball is won.

Fenerbahçe attacks with three attackers across the front to pin the opposition back. Vedat acts as a pressing centre forward, leading the line and looking to hold up the ball for others. Oguz plays as an inverted winger on the left, looking to cut inside and find shooting positions, while Dorgeles stays wide on the right to stretch the play. The team looks to attack in combinations, using the movement of Vedat to create runs in behind for Oguz or Dorgeles to exploit.

A major advantage for Fenerbahçe is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three to force a long ball. The wide overloads created by Levent and Mert allow the team to create numerical superiority in the final third. This setup also allows for a quick speed of transition, catching opponents out of position before they can set their defensive line.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on aggressive pressing and quick movement to break down opponents. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
