Ait Nouri acts as a carrier to drive the ball forward from the left side. Cherki sits in the center to connect the defensive and attacking lines, using his ability to find the feet of the striker. Ahead of him, Ndiaye and Foden operate in the half spaces. Ndiaye plays as an attacking ten who looks to break the line with vertical passes, while Foden uses his dribbling style to move into dangerous areas.

The attack revolves around a lone striker, Haaland, who acts as a physical presence to pin the last defender. Haaland is known for his movement to hit in behind and his ability to win the header. The wide players, Ndiaye and Foden, create width and look to cut inside to support the central area. This setup encourages the forwards to press from the front to force a long ball from the opponent. When attacking in transition, the team looks to deliver early balls to Haaland or use the runs in behind from the attacking midfielders.
