The midfield operates as a three-man midfield with a carrier to bridge the lines. NICOLÁS plays as the primary engine to win the second ball and protect the center, while EVERTTON moves to connect the defensive unit with the attack. LUCAS operates in the advanced space behind the striker, acting as a creative link who looks to play through the lines. This group works to squeeze the space in the middle and ensure the team can transition from a mid-block to a full press instantly.

The attacking trio uses three attackers across the front to pin the opposition defenders. JOAQUÍN operates as a pressing centre-forward to lead the hunt for the ball, often looking to hold up the ball and lay it off for oncoming runners.
