Vitória focuses on high intensity and direct attacking football through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup seeks to win the ball back high up the pitch and quickly move the ball into the final third. The team relies on verticality to catch the opposition out of position, using the wide areas to stretch the defence and create gaps in the middle.

Yuri acts as the last line of defence, standing behind a flat back four. Mateus operates as the right back to provide width, while Jamerson handles the left back role. In the center, Edu and Ricieli form the defensive duo, with Edu providing strength and Ricieli acting as a ball playing defender to initiate play. The defensive unit works to hold a high line, using the offside trap to squeeze the space and deny the turn of opposing attackers.

The midfield functions as a three man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten behind the striker. Caíque and Emmanuel work to control the central areas, with Caíque often dropping deep to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Emmanuel drives forward with the ball to transition from defence to attack. Matheuzinho plays in the hole as an advanced midfielder, looking to arrive late into the box and find the feet of the striker.

Vitória utilizes three attackers across the front to maintain constant pressure. Osvaldo stays wide on the left as an inverted winger to cut inside and create chances, while Marinho occupies the right flank to deliver crosses. Renato leads the line as a pressing centre-forward, working to pin the last defender and create space for the runners behind. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball, allowing the midfield and defence to win the second ball.

One major advantage for Vitória is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three to trigger a press. This creates turnovers in dangerous areas. Another strength is the ability to create wide overloads when Mateus and Jamerson push up to overlap the wingers. This forces the opposition to shift wide, which opens up passing lanes through the middle for Matheuzinho to exploit.
