Sport relies on a high press and quick transitions through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup aims to win the ball high up the pitch to catch the opposition while they try to play out from the back. The team uses this formation to stretch the defence and create chances through rapid vertical movements.

In goal, THIAGO acts as the first point of distribution. The defensive unit operates with a flat back four that can push up to squeeze the space. MARCELO on the right side and EDSON on the left serve as full backs who can overlap to provide width. In the middle, MARCELO as the right centre back and KAYKY as the left centre back must hold the line and defend zonally to keep the unit compact. These defenders focus on intercepting passes and winning the second ball to prevent counter attacks.

The midfield is built around a three-man midfield with a carrier and creative players. ZÉ operates on the left to help cover ground and press aggressively to win the ball high. WILLIAN plays on the right to help link the defence and attack by carrying the ball forward. DIEGO plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to play through the lines and find space between the opposition lines. This midfield trio works to control the centre and ensure the team can recycle possession when the initial press is broken.

Up front, Sport uses three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. PEROTTI plays as a pressing centre-forward to lead the line and harass the opposition centre backs. On the flanks, JUAN acts as an inverted winger on the left to cut inside and create goal scoring opportunities. CHRYSTIAN plays as a wide winger on the right to stretch the defence and get to the byline. The front three work to trigger a press and move in combinations to create runs in behind.

One major strength for Sport is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three and the attacking midfielder to force a long ball. The formation also creates wide overloads when the full backs overlap the wingers. This allows the team to overwhelm the opposition in the wide areas and deliver crosses into the box.

This 4-3-3 formation is designed for a team that wants to dominate through high intensity and quick ball movement. It is best suited for matches against opponents who struggle to play under pressure or fail to track runners in the half spaces.
