Lic acts as the last line of defense, staying alert to any long balls sent over the top. The back three consists of Narloch, Wegner, and Klessa, who operate as a compact unit. Narloch sits centrally to command the area, while Wegner and Klessa provide cover and can step up to intercept passes. They defend zonally to ensure the space between them remains minimal. The defensive unit functions by squeezing the space between the lines and forcing the opposition to play wide.

The midfield is a five man block that controls the tempo and provides both protection and drive. Remiszka acts as a single pivot, sitting deep to shield the defense and pick up runners. In front of him, Materac and Drewek operate as two central midfielders who connect the defense to the attack. Materac works to win the second ball, while Drewek looks to carry the ball forward into the half spaces. Wojnerowicz and Stenwak occupy the wide areas, providing much needed width and tracking back to support the defenders.

The attack uses two forwards in a partnership to trouble the back line. Mosek and Sawa operate as a duo, looking to combine in tight spaces or run in behind the defense. Mosek often acts to hold up the ball, allowing Sawa to make runs into the box. They press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. When the team transitions, they look to hit in behind on the transition by utilizing the space created by the overlapping runs of the wide midfielders.

One major strength of this lineup is the numerical superiority in the central midfield. By crowding the middle, the team can easily intercept passes and win the second ball. Another advantage is the ability to use Wojnerowicz and Stenwak to create wide overloads, which forces the opposing full backs into difficult situations. This flexibility allows the team to shift between a compact mid block and a heavy press.

This 3-5-2 formation relies on intense pressing and quick vertical transitions to break down opponents. It is best suited for matches against teams that play with a high line or struggle to defend against central combinations.
