IK Sirius focuses on high pressing and verticality when they use a 3-4-3. This formation is built to attack quickly and pin the opposition in their own half. The team looks to win the ball high up the pitch to create immediate scoring chances through rapid transitions.

Procces Väktare EK25 acts as the last line of defense behind a back three. Emil EK24 sits in the center of the defense to organize the line and clear the lines when under pressure. Sander EK25 plays as the left centre back to cover the space behind the wing, while Berat EK25 operates on the right to maintain the defensive unit. This trio works to maintain a high line and squeeze the space between the midfield and the defense.

The midfield operates with two central players and two wide midfielders to control the pitch. Amadeus SA25 and MZ10 EK25 form a central pairing that works to win the second ball and connect the defense to the attack. They must protect the space in front of the back three while looking to carry the ball forward. On the flanks, Eskil SA26 and 10:a provide the width to stretch the defense. These wide players are tasked with tracking back to help the defense and moving up to provide service into the box.

In the attacking phase, IK Sirius utilizes three forwards to pressure the opposition back line. Eric EK25 acts as the striker to hold up the ball and fight for aerial strength in the box. Julian SA25 and Pelé SA25 play as wide attackers who look to cut inside and find the feet of the striker or take on defenders one on one. The movement is designed to create runs in behind and allow the wide midfielders to overlap the wingers. This creates a constant threat through both central combinations and wide play.

A major strength of this lineup is the ability to press high in coordinated waves. When the front three and wide midfielders trigger a press, the central midfielders move up to deny the turn and cut off the passing lane. Another advantage is the width provided by Eskil SA26 and 10:a, which allows the team to stretch the defense and create space in the middle. The combination of a back three and a compact midfield makes them hard to break down when they sit deep.

The 3-4-3 formation allows IK Sirius to play a heavy pressing game that forces mistakes from the opponent. This system is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back.
