Custom Team Football Formation
Starting Lineup
Prince · Garnacho · Gideon · Aisosa · Wash · Elvis · Tosin · Taiwo · Abraham · Kelvin · CancanA high press and quick verticality define the way this lineup plays. The team operates in a 4-3-3 formation designed to win the ball high up the pitch and strike immediately. This system aims to stretch the defence and use quick combinations to break lines before the opponent can settle.
Prince starts between the posts to manage the defensive line. The back four utilizes a flat back four system where Garnacho plays as the right back to provide width and Gideon acts as the left back. In the center, Aisosa and Wash form the defensive core. Aisosa operates as a ball playing defender to start attacks, while Wash focuses on covering space and winning the second ball. The unit maintains a high line to keep the distance between the lines tight and compress the space for the opposition.
The midfield functions as a three man midfield with a carrier and a creative tip. Tosin and Elvis occupy the central roles to control the tempo and shield the defence. Elvis works to drive forward with the ball and carry it into the half spaces. Tosin connects the defensive and attacking lines by recycling possession and picking up runners. Taiwo plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space and deliver through balls to the front three.
The attack relies on three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Cancan acts as a pressing centre-forward to lead the hunt from the front. On the flanks, Kelvin and Abraham operate as inverted wingers who cut inside to create overloads in the middle. This movement allows the full backs to overlap the winger and deliver crosses into the box. The front three work to force the opposition back into their own half through intense pressing.
This formation offers significant advantages in terms of speed of transition and wide overloads. When Kelvin cuts inside, Garnacho can push up to create a two on one situation against the opposing full back. The team can also press in coordinated waves, with Taiwo and Cancan triggering the press to win the ball back high up the pitch.
The 4-3-3 setup focuses on aggressive ball winning and rapid attacking movements. It is best suited for matches against teams that play a high line or struggle to play out from the back.
