All Boys looks to control the game through a balanced 4-4-2. This formation is built to maintain a compact block while looking to strike quickly through the central channels or wide areas. The team relies on a direct way of playing that aims to stretch the opposition defense through verticality and quick transitions.

Cambiasso stays between the posts to command the area. The defensive unit operates with a flat back four where Grana acts as the right back to provide width. Soto plays as the left back to cover the flank and support the center. Dragonetti and Zárate form the central pairing, acting as the main line of defense to block runners and win the second ball. They work together to keep the line high and ensure the team stays compact when the opposition moves into the final third.

The midfield functions with a double pivot to protect the back line. Mamberto and Moure sit in front of the defense to shield the center and win back possession in the middle of the pitch. Mamberto acts to break the line of play through simple passes, while Moure focuses on cutting off the passing lane to the opposition attackers. Ahead of them, Sánchez and Medina occupy the half spaces. Sánchez plays as a left attacking midfielder to drive forward with the ball, while Medina operates on the right to find space between the lines and link the midfield to the front two.

All Boys uses two forwards in a partnership to lead the attack. Danón plays as the right striker, often looking to make runs in behind the defense to exploit space. Espina Sívori plays as the left striker, acting to hold up the ball and find the feet of the oncoming midfielders. The two forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. This setup creates opportunities for cutbacks from the wide areas when Sánchez or Medina push high to support the attack.

This lineup offers great compactness when defending in a mid-block. The proximity between the midfield and the defensive line makes it difficult for opponents to find space between the units. All Boys also benefits from the speed of transition, using the central presence of the midfielders to quickly find the strikers once the ball is won.

The 4-4-2 provides a solid balance of defensive cover and offensive threat. This formation is best suited for games where the team needs to remain hard to beat while exploiting gaps in a high defensive line.
