Vitória relies on a high press and quick verticality when playing a 4-3-3. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and hit the opponent before they can settle. The team looks to use width to stretch the opposition and create space in the middle for runners to exploit.

Yuri stays between the posts to anchor the back line. The defense operates as a flat back four where Nathan acts as an attacking full back to provide width on the right. On the left, Jamerson is tasked to overlap the winger to create overloads. In the center, Caca and Riccieli form the defensive core, with Caca often stepping into midfield to help with ball progression while Riccieli covers the space behind him. The unit works to squeeze the space between the lines and maintain a high line to support the press.

The midfield functions with a three-man midfield with a carrier to control the tempo. Emmanuel operates in the left half-space to link the defense to the attack, while Rúben works to shield the defense and win the second ball in the center. Tomás plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space between the opponent lines. This midfield group is responsible for recycling possession and finding the forwards quickly once the ball is won.

Vitória utilizes three attackers across the front to pin the opposition back line. Marinho plays as an inverted winger on the right to cut inside and look for shots or through balls. Ignacio acts as a wide winger on the left to hug the touchline and deliver crosses. Renato serves as a pressing centre-forward to harass defenders and hold up the ball for others. The attack is designed to create runs in behind and use cutbacks from the byline to catch the defense out of position.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to press high in coordinated waves. By using the front three to trigger a press, Vitória can often win the ball high up the pitch. Another strength is the potential for wide overloads when Jamerson and Ignacio combine on the left flank.
