Starting Lineup

Lazio looks to win the ball back high up the pitch with a high press in a 3-4-3 formation. The midfield works as a flat four to control the center and provide width. Rovella and Taylor form a central pairing where Taylor looks to drive forward with the ball and Rovella works to deny the pivot and protect the defense. On the flanks, Tavares plays as a left midfielder to provide constant width and Marusic acts as a right midfielder to track back and support the defense. These players are key to recycling possession and finding ways to progress through the thirds.

Lazio employs three attackers to pin the last defender and create constant threats. Gudmundsson leads the line as a lone striker, looking to find the feet of the striker and link up with the wide players. Zaccagni plays as a left winger and will cut inside to create chances, while Isaksen operates on the right to stretch the defense.
