Al-Nassr utilizes three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Ronaldo acts as a pressing centre forward to force long balls from the opposition. On the wings, Ronaldinho and L. Messi act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create chances. Ronaldinho uses his dribbling style to beat men, while L. Messi looks to find the feet of the striker or play through the lines. This front three is designed to create combinations in tight spaces and isolate wide players in one on one situations.

The main advantages for Al-Nassr lie in their massive talent in transition and the width offered by the wing backs. The ability to hit in behind on the transition is extreme when the wing backs push high. Having P. Maldini and E.
