Valle sits between the posts to organize the defense. Behind him, a back three of Ordóñez, Realpe, and Porozo provides a solid foundation. Ordóñez and Porozo act as wide centre-backs who can squeeze the space when the team presses high, while Realpe holds the line as the central man. The defensive unit works to keep the distances between the lines small, forcing opponents into wide areas where they can be doubled up on.

The midfield is built around a double pivot of P.Vite and Castillo, who sit deep to shield the back three. P.Vite works to break the line with his passing, while Castillo stays central to deny the pivot of the opposition. In front of them, Yeboah, Arroyo, and Sarmiento operate as a three-man midfield with a carrier. Yeboah drives forward with the ball to transition play, while Arroyo and Sarmiento operate in the half-spaces to link the defensive and attacking lines, often making late runs into the box to support the strikers.

The attack utilizes two forwards in a partnership to stretch the defense. J.Caicedo acts as a pressing centre-forward, constantly working to harass the opposition back line and force a long ball. Alongside him, A.Valencia plays as a second striker who looks to find space between the lines. They combine in tight spaces to create runs in behind, often using quick one-twos to bypass the midfield and isolate defenders in one on one situations.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages, particularly in terms of numerical superiority in the central areas of the pitch. Because Yeboah, Arroyo, and Sarmiento occupy the space ahead of the pivot, the team can easily congest the middle to win the second ball.
