The attack features three players positioned to stretch the defence. Havertz plays as a pressing centre forward, working to pin the last defender and link up play between the lines. Wirtz operates as an inverted winger on the left to cut inside and create, while Adeyemi stays wide on the right to provide width and hit in behind on the transition. This front line is designed to attack in combinations, using quick one twos to move past the opposition block.
