The midfield works as a three man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten. MILTON and LEANDRO operate in the central areas to shield the defence and recycle possession. CARLOS plays as an advanced attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find the feet of the striker or play through the lines. This trio connects the defence to the attack, with MILTON and LEANDRO working to intercept passes and drive forward with the ball to break the line.

Up front, Boca uses three attackers to stretch the defence. SEBASTIÁN and ÁNGEL act as wide wingers who cut inside to create goalscoring chances, while MIGUEL acts as a pressing centre-forward to lead the line. The movement of SEBASTIÁN and ÁNGEL creates space for LEANDRO and LAUTARO to overlap the winger and provide crosses.
