Mateo sits as the right-sided center back to cover the wide areas, while Francisco occupies the left side to defend zonally. Alan and Claudio play as attacking wing backs, tasked with providing width and tracking back to form a five when the team drops into a low block.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten behind the strikers. Gabriel and Nicolás form a central pairing to shield the defense and win the second ball. Gabriel works to protect the middle, while Nicolás looks to drive forward with the ball and link the defensive and attacking lines. H.
