Gaya stays between the posts to command the area. The back four consists of Cabral at right back and Bouchta at left back, both tasked with tracking runners and providing width when needed. Hrila and Bahssain form the central defensive pair, with Hrila acting as a ball playing defender while Bahssain focuses on winning headers and covering the space behind. Tomisong acts as a lone striker and must hold up the ball to allow the midfielders to join the attack. The wide players must tuck in to maintain a compact shape, but they are expected to spread wide once the team moves into the final third. The attacking plan relies on Tomisong to find space in behind or lay it off to the oncoming midfielders.
