PABLO stays between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four with SAM playing as the left back and WILLY acting as the right back. OSVALD and IAN occupy the central positions where they must hold the line and win the second ball. SAM and WILLY are expected to push up to support the attack, which leaves OSVALD and IAN to cover the space behind. The back four works together to squeeze the space and keep the defensive unit compact.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier and a creative presence. ANÍBAL and ALEJANDRO occupy the central roles to protect the defense and recycle possession. ANÍBAL often sits deeper to shield the defense, while ALEJANDRO carries the ball forward to link the lines. ONNI plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to find pockets of space. ONNI works to connect the midfield to the front line by playing through the lines to the attackers.

Miami FC uses three attackers across the front to pin the opposition back line. MARCUS acts as a pressing centre-forward to force long balls from the opponent. ALEX and EMMANUEL operate as wide wingers who hug the touchline to provide width. This movement creates space for MARCUS to find the feet of the striker or for ALEJANDRO to arrive late into the box. The front three press in pairs to trigger a press and win the ball back high up the pitch.

This lineup offers several tactical advantages. The team can achieve numerical superiority in the attacking third when ONNI joins the front three. Using SAM and WILLY to overlap the winger creates wide overloads that force the opposition to shift constantly.
