FC Dallas seeks to control the tempo through high pressing and quick transitions in a 4-3-3. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and use wide areas to stretch the defence. The intention is to maintain high intensity to force mistakes from the opponent.

Jonathan stays between the posts to organize the defensive unit. A flat back four forms the base, with Joshua acting as the left back to provide width. GeoVane operates on the right to support the attack. In the center, Álvaro and Lalas act as the main central defenders, where Lalas uses his physical presence to win the header and Álvaro focuses on covering the space behind the line. They work to hold the line and keep the team compact.

The midfield functions with a three man midfield with a carrier to link the lines. Anderson plays in the hole as an attacking ten behind the striker to find pockets of space. Christian and Patrickson operate in the central areas to control the ball and press in a mid-block. Christian focuses on driving forward with the ball while Patrickson helps to shield the defence and win the second ball. They work to recycle possession and move the ball through the thirds.

Up front, the attack uses three attackers across the front. Logan acts as a pressing centre-forward to harass the opposition back line and hold up the ball. Daniel and Bernard operate as wide wingers who hug the touchline to create width. This allows them to isolate a one on one wide or deliver early crosses into the box. The forwards aim to hit in behind on the transition once the midfield wins the ball.

FC Dallas can create wide overloads from the overlapping full backs. The presence of Anderson in the advanced role creates numerical superiority in the attacking third. This formation also allows the team to press in coordinated waves to win it back high up the pitch.

The 4-3-3 lineup focuses on high pressing and wide attacking movements. It is best suited for games against opponents who struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
